Romanian National News Agency AGERPRES becomes, as of January, Associated Press (AP) photographs distributor, having the right to resell the photographs to all publications in Romania. The object of this partnership is "AP Images Archive", a platform including hundreds of thousands of topical and historic photos, illustrating daily the most important pieces of news worldwide, as well as "AP European Photostream."

The Romanian National News Agency AGERPRES will launch, on November 30, one month after the Colectiv Club fire, an editorial project dedicated to the victims of the tragedy, which can be followed on our news flows and on the www.agerpres.ro public website.

The best photos captured between July 2014 - August 2015 by the photographers of the Romanian National News Agency AGERPRES were exhibited in the OANA-Yonhap Press Photo Exhibition 2015, organized at the headquarters of the South Korean Press Agency Yonhap, in Seoul, between November 15-18, 2015.

AGERPRES National News Agency Director General Alexandru Giboi attended the 24th General Assembly meeting of the Association of the Balkan News Agencies of Southeast Europe (ABNA-SE) themed 'Twenty years of ABNA - Challenges and Opportunities' held in Sarajevo, on which occasion he voiced his support for a future candidacy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina News Agency (FENA) to become a member of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA).
