CSM Bucharest defeated on Saturday Slovenian team RK Krim Mercator (Krim Handball Club) of Ljubljana, with a score of 33-30 (17-16), in a match played away in the Group A of the Women's EHF Champions League.

The best scorers of CSM Bucharest were Cristina Neagu—9 goals (percentage), Isabelle Gulden — 6 goals, Amanda Kurtovic — 5 goals, Iulia Curea and Marit Frafjord — 4 goals each. The other goals were scored by Oanea Manea — 2 goals, Aneta Udristoiu, Bianca Bazaliu and Line Jorgensen — one goal each.
