President Iohannis to welcome EU Council's President Tusk, to attend European summit next week

Romania's President Klaus Iohannis on Friday will welcome President of the European Council Donald Tusk at Cotroceni Palace, presidential spokesperson Madalina Dobrovolschi announced on Tuesday.

Dobrovolschi told a news conference on Tuesday that the main item on the agenda of the two officials' talks will be the future of the European Union.

She also announced that on October 19 and 20, Iohannis will be in Brussels to attend a summit of the European Council meeting that discusses migration, digital Europe, security and defence issues, as well as EU's external relations, with emphasis on the relationship between the European Union and Turkey.
