Romania wins three medals, in European Mountain Running Championships

Romania won three medals, one gold, one silver and one bronze medal, on Saturday, in the European Mountain Running Championships of Kamnik, Slovenia, according to a release sent to AGERPRES.

Junior athlete Gabriel Bularda won the gold, in 47 min 07 sec, on 8.5 km (1,035 m ascent), Romania's women junior team, made up of Gabriela Andrea Doroftei, Alexia Hecico, Irina Alice Bordeanu and Iulia Melinda Zudor won the silver medal, and junior Gabriela Andrea Doroftei, won the bronze, in 24 min 36 sec, on 4.5 km, (430 m ascent).

The men's junior team, made up of Gabriel Bularda, Peter Daniel Hermann, Catalin Florin Tocila and Marius Sorin Turciu, was ranked 4th, lagging behind the teams of Italy, Turkey and France.
