Prime Minister of Luxembourg Bettel welcomed with military honours at Victoria Palace

Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel was welcomed on Friday at the Victoria Palace by Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu during an official ceremony that included the intoning of the national anthems and a review of the guard of honour.

Grindeanu welcomed the prime minister of Luxembourg on the main platform of the Government building, where the official ceremony took place.

The two high-ranking officials then walked on the central hall of the Government for an official photo.

The visit to the Victoria Palace also include talks in the plenary meetings of the two delegations, followed by a joint press statement at 13:00 hrs.

Also on Friday, Xavier Bettel will be welcomed by Romania's President Klaus Iohannis at Cotroceni Palace and on Sunday the two officials are scheduled to pay a visit to Sibiu.
