The CFR division dedicated to passenger travel) is marking the opening of the summer season 2015 by launching the Seaside Trains to link the capital city with the Romanian seaside (Black Sea shore), in two hours, without any other stops in between, reads a release of the company to AGERPRES on Thursday.
Thus, the Seaside Train IR 1581 will leave from the Bucharest North railway station at 7:30 to reach to Constanta at 9:30, while the IR 1582 train will leave from Constanta at 13:00 to arrive in Bucharest North at 15:01. On the occasion of the mini-holiday occasioned by the free Labour Day - May 1, CFR Calatori decided to supplement, over April 29-May 4, 2015, its transport capacity, by adding 20 more InterRegio and Region trains to its fleet, so as to ensure a direct link between all the country regions and the Black Sea resorts.
The prices for the tickets for the Bucharest-Constanta route will vary depending on the train. Thus, a full ticket for a Regio and RE train, second class, will cost 30.5 lei, while a round trip ticket will cost 54.9 lei. A ticket for a InterRegio train, second class, seat included, will cost 62 lei and 112.4 lei if it is a round trip one. Pupils and students will benefit from cuts," informed the CFR.
According to the release, in the interval between April 30 and May 3, the Youth Train RE 12803 will leave from the Bucharest North railway station at 2:40 to arrive in Mangalia at 7:47 and the RE 12804 will leave from Mangalia at 17:49, to arrive in Constanta at 20:20 and in Bucharest North at 23:46.
However, some of the InterRegio and Regio trains will remain in the stations during the May 1-4 2015 interval, because of the low traffic during the mini-holiday. Travel agencies will also remain closed on May 1, 2015," informed CFR Calatori in the release. AGERPRES
