Bucharest, May 10 /Agerpres/ - Romanians trust firefighters, the military and the clergy the most, followed by the teachers, journalists and the doctors, shows the national barometer of opinion conducted by Avangarde over April 21-28 this year.
According to the barometer, 86 percent of the respondents to the survey trusted the firefighters, 80 percent trust the military, 74 percent trust the clergy, 66 percent the teachers, 52 percent the journalists and 51 percent the doctors.
Moreover, 43 percent of the subjects to the survey specified they trusted the judges and the National Anti-corruption Department (DNA), 42 percent said they trusted the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI): 40 percent the prosecutors, 26 percent the Government, 24 percent the Parliament, 22 percent the President and 17 percent the political parties.
Asked about the main problem they are confronted with on a daily basis, 31 percent of the respondents mentioned money problems, 18 percent health problems, 12 percent the lack of jobs, 5 percent dwelling-related problems and 4 percent said they have to deal with family or corruption-related problems every day, 2 percent said bad roads, 9 percent other problems and 15 percent said they could not choose.
The survey was conducted over April 21-28, 2013, on a probabilistic, stratified sample of one thousand people aged over 18. The sample is representative for the Romanian non-institutionalized adult population, with a tolerated margin error of plus/minus 3 percent for a trust interval of 95 percent.
