The findings of a recent study of the most powerful 50 Romanian brands, conducted by Unlock Market Research, will be made public today at the BrandRo event organised by the Biz magazine in Bucharest.

'Among the top 50 strong Romanian brands you will find many of the brands that had an impact on your childhood and adulthood and that are besides you everyday,' says Biz editor-in-chief Marta Usurelu.

The booklet 'The most powerful 50 Romanian brands' comprises individual presentations of each of the 50 brands, the findings and conclusions of the Unlock study, the profiles of the most important Romanian branding companies and statements by renown Romanian branding specialists.

'The success stories of these brands can be an inspiration to the creation of genuinely Romanian models that will make us proud and about which we can trustfully and gladly talk,' says Unlock Market Research Managing Partner Adina Vlad.

The second edition of the BrandRo Forum will gather together branding specialists, company managers and entrepreneurs, marketing and advertising professionals, opinion leaders and media officials.

'The best piece of advice I can give to the local brands is in order for you to be competitive locally you have to set valid standards for the global consumers. There are very few local brands that have understood that, at the comfortable cover of a shelf that did not require much effort, in a local economic boom inflated by consumption,' says Brandient Managing Partner Aneta Bogdan, one of the BrndRo invited speakers.

The 2010 edition of BrandRo is designed to analyse the strategies of Romanian brands in their struggle to differentiate themselves from big international brands and to discuss challenges and opportunities in the current global context. AGERPRES
