"I think that for the function of prime minister it is indicated a person who could assume this position with concrete results for citizens and companies, for our external commitments, for the medium and long term future of Romania. The situation is liable to require a political solution and this political solution lies, at this time, in the hands of politicians. They should find a solution to serve the nation", Predoiu said at the end of the informal meeting with ministers.


Asked if he is appointed prime minister, he would govern better than Emil Boc, he replied: "No matter for how long I will hold this office, I will be fully involved to find concrete solutions for positively change the situation of citizens and companies. It is all an honest man can promise currently".



Predoiu also said that he had a conversation with former Prime Minister Emil Boc on administrative details and stressed that at the level of the central administration no changes will occur.
