Minister of Justice Catalin Predoiu said in a press release sent to Agerpres that he accepted the proposal of Romania's President to be acting Prime Minister.
'I want to inform the public opinion of the fact that, on Monday, February 6, 2012, I accepted the proposal of Romania's President to hold the position of acting Prime Minister.
'As soon as the presidential decree on appointing me to the office is published in the Official Gazette, I shall fulfil the constitutional tasks, especially the ones stipulated by Article 107, Paragraphs 3 and 4, and Article 110, Paragraphs 2-4, of the Constitution.
'I want to assure the citizens that the state institutions will continue their activity normally, in keeping with the Constitution and the laws in force,' says Catalin Predoiu in the release mentioned above.AGERPRES
