PDL's Filip chosen Senate deputy chairman

The Senate on Wednesday approved the appointment of Petru Filip of the Democratic Liberal Party (PDL), major at rule, as deputy chairman of the Senate to replace Senator Anca Boagiu, who has taken over the Transport portfolio in the Boc Cabinet.



The appointment was approved by 73 votes, no vote against and no abstention.

The Senate also approved by a large majority some changes in the composition of their standing committees presented by the group of PDL senators following the nomination of Anca Boagiu and Ion Ariton as ministers. AGERPRES
