The Dobrogea Black Sea Coast Water Basin Administration (ABADL) will put up for lease through public tender lakes of the Black Sea Constanta county and parts of the Danube River as well as the Black Sea for commercial use.
ABADL spokesman Catalin Anton says the award of the lake basins will be for the building there of wind turbine farms or leisure activities. Qualifying for running in the public tender for the lease of the lake basins, parts of the Danube River and the Black Sea are Romanian and foreign individuals and judicial persons that buy the task book, file bids and set aside a participation bond.
'Among the lakes to be up for lease are the Techirghiol and the Tabacarie of Constanta and the Mangalia Pool, and if there is demand parts of the Danube River and the Black Sea will also be leased out,' says Anton.
The lessees are allowed to carry out various activities, including building wind turbines, farming algae or clams or providing leisure activities. AGERPRES
