National Meteorology Administration (ANM) on Wednesday morning issued a code orange warning for strong blizzards valid for the counties in eastern and south-eastern Romania: Ilfov (Bucharest Municipality, included), Teleorman, Giurgiu, Arges, Dambovita, Prahova, Calarasi, Ialomita, Buzau, Braila, Galati, Vrancea, Constanta, Tulcea, Mehedinti, Dolj and Olt.
According to ANM, the gusts of wind will exceed 80-90 km/h determining a serious visibility reduction (under 50 m) and snowdrift formation.
The code orange warning is valid in the interval January 25, 9 am, local time - January 26, 18:00, local time.
After the above-mentioned interval the weather will be frosty, especially at night and in the morning, mainly in the centre, east and south of Romania. AGERPRES
