Attending the PES Congress, the PSD leader will also deliver a speech, informs a PSD release.
In the context of the political meeting of the European Socialists, Premier Victor Ponta will meet with important leaders of the European left-wing parties to discuss subjects of common interest related to the European agenda.
Leaders of most important EU leftist parties confirmed their participation in the Congress in Rome, including: Chancellor of Austria Werner Faymann; Prime Minister of Belgium Elio Di Rupo; Prime Minister of Bulgaria Plamen Oresharski; Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Bohuslav Sobotka; Prime Minister of France Jean-Marc Ayrault; Germany's Deputy Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel; Prime Minister of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevicius; Prime Minister of Malta Joseph Muscat; and Prime Minister of Italy Mateo Renzi.
