The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) says that, for the time being, it does not consider withdrawing the Romanian diplomatic staff from Kyiv and that Romania's Embassy to Ukraine, the consular section included, carry out their activity 'under quasi-normal circumstances.'

MAE also makes it clear, at the request of Agerpres, that, up to now, there have been no requests for consular assistance with Romania's Embassy in Kyiv from some citizens having Romanian passports.
"For the time being there are no elements leading to the option to consider withdrawing the Romanian diplomatic staff from Kyiv . Depending on the evolution of the situation, this possibility will be evaluated again.
