PM Ponta holds phone talk with Polish counterpart about solutions to Ukraine crisis

Prime Minister Victor Ponta held a phone conversation with his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk about the options and concrete ways to back EU's efforts to solve the current political crisis in Ukraine.

According to a release the Government sent to AGERPRES, "the talks reflected the common approach of Romania and Poland as regards the European Union's involvement and the need for a sustained coordination between the member states and at the level of the EU institutions respectively."

The two prime ministers also swapped views on the Republic of Moldova's EU path, agreeing to continue their coordination and cooperation with a view to actively supporting the Chisinau Government's objectives regarding the EU — Republic of Moldova Association Agreement, visa liberalization and the reform process.
