Two units at Cernavoda produce over 11.6 mln MWh in 2013

The two units of the Nuclear Power Plant at Cernavoda (south-eastern Romania) produced over 11.618 million MWh in 2013, of which 10.695 million MWh were delivered to the National Grid, according to the data published on the website of Nuclearelectrica.

In 2013, Unit 1 produced 6.121 million MWh and delivered 5.622 million MWh, with a 99.4 percent average capacity factor, and Unit 2 produced 5.497 million MWh and delivered 5.073 million MWh, with an 89.15 percent average capacity factor.

Since they started operating until the end of Nov. 2013, the two units of the nuclear plant have produced about 130.868 million MWh and have delivered 120.682 million MWh in the system.AGERPRES
